We only sell the loft bed in photo, not the bottom bunk.

All orders come with 2 rails on 3 sides (ladder side is left open if ladder is at foot of bed) unless otherwise requested. You can request 1 extra safety rail per side but request must be made before your order ships. The cost of the extra rails will be determined by your shipping location.

Setup:

This project requires a drill, comes with all hardware and has both instructions and an instructional video, as well as text assistance to help setup. There will be the necessity to drill some secondary holes and attach the ladder by drilling your own holes, in order to accommodate various different setup options.

This is a 3-4 hour setup project. It requires measuring, drilling holes and some other relatively basic carpentry skills.

Custom Heights:

Please add your height in the message section at checkout. Max clearance height is 67" with two safety rails on 3 sides. If you have a special request, please put it in notes. I also can make the footprint of the bed 2-3" smaller or larger to accommodate your space. For more info on measuring, visit www.chicagoloftbed.com

Product Info:

Made of pine. For a paint wash we wipe on paint to show the wood grain. We have Brown, Black, Grey, White, and unfinished.

(*Height clearance= height under bed.)

This is made for 12" mattresses and smaller, please note in your order if using a taller mattress and we can adjust height of posts. With a 12" mattress, there will be 6-8" of safety rail above the mattress. Please notify us if you need more railing height.

Dimensions:

With side ladder :
The dimensions for queen are 85" x 65" plus 20" on the end for the side ladder.
For full they are 80" x 59" and 20" on the end for the ladder.
Message us to request a narrower ladder or if you need a solution to work with a smaller space.
